16 scientists of the Eurasian National University are included in the General Ranking of the Teaching Staff of the Republic of Kazakhstan, compiled by the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating in 2023.

The ranking is headed by Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Winner of the State Prize, Director of the Research Institute “Eurasian International Center for Theoretical Physics” of the L.N.Gumilyov ENU, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Ratbay Myrzakulov. He has been in the top of the General Ranking of the Teaching staff of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the tenth year in a row.

Ratbay Kagazovich scored 15,100 points, ahead of the second-place winner by 5,725 points.

The top ten of the list includes outstanding teachers, researchers, scientists, among them PhD, Associate Professor of the International Department of Nuclear Physics, New Materials and Technologies Artem Kozlovsky, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Nuclear Physics, New Materials and Technologies Maxim Zdorovets, research teacher of the Technical Physics Department of the Faculty of Physics and Technology Talgat Inerbayev.

The TOP 50 also includes Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Lecturer-Researcher of the Nuclear Physics, New Materials and Technologies Department Kairat Kuterbekov, Lecturer-Researcher of the Technical Physics Department Abdirash Akilbekov, PhD, Lecturer-Researcher of the International Department of Nuclear Physics, New Materials and Technologies Dmitry Shlimas, Head of the International Department of Nuclear Physics, New Materials and Technologies Kasym Zhumadilov, Research Professor of the Technical Physics Department Alma Dauletbekova, PhD, Assistant Professor of the General and Theoretical Physics Department Shynaray Myrzakul, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Zerekbay Alikulov, Associate Professor Researcher, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Kairat Myrzakulov, Director of the Institute of Cell Biology and Biotechnology, Head of the Molecular Genetics Laboratory, Academician of NAS RK Rakhmetkazy Bersimbay, Academician of NAS RK, Mathematician, Professor Ryskul Oynarov, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Mathematical and Computer Modeling Department Gulgasyl Nugmanova, PhD, Assistant Professor of the General and Theoretical Physics Department Gauhar Shaikhova.

It is worth noting that Academician Ratbay Myrzakulov is included in the ranking of “2% of the Most Authoritative Scientists in the World” according to Stanford University, according to the latest data from the Elsevier scientific publishing house.

In 2022, the scientist was awarded the Scopus International Prize in physics and astronomy for outstanding achievements in the field of research. Currently, Professor Myrzakulov’s Scopus Hirsch index is 47.

Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Ratbay Myrzakulov is the author of more than 400 scientific papers. More than 300 articles have been published in foreign journals with a high impact factor.

In total, 16 ENU scientists and teachers are included in the General Rating of the Teaching Staff of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
