Fund acquisition department

The department of funds acquisition is one of the main structural divisions of the scientific library of the ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov. The department conducts scientifically based, complete and operative current and retrospective acquisition of the library's collection.The profile of the formation of the fund is determined by the directions and contents of the educational and scientific activities of the university faculties and research centers of ENU. Literature is purchased at the request of the departments of the faculties. By decision of the ENU Scientific Council, dissertations defended at the university and their abstracts, as well as publications issued by the ENU Printing House, are included in the fund.  The fund is also replenished by gifts from organisations, charitable foundations, readers, authors and other sources.
