Information and Bibliographic Department

The purpose of the Department is to provide University users with high-quality and timely information and bibliographic services, support teaching and research activities, and enhance users’ information literacy.

Main areas of activity:

1. Reference, bibliographic and information services:
– providing bibliographic reference services in response to user requests;
– assisting users in searching for and selecting information and literature for study and research;
– informing users about new library acquisitions and information resources.

2. Preparation of bibliographic and information materials:
– preparing bibliographic indexes, subject-based reading lists, guides to using library resources, and other information materials.

3. Enhancing users’ information literacy:
– providing guidance on the use of the library catalogue, electronic resources, and databases;
– providing guidance on formatting bibliographic references and reference lists;
– conducting bibliographic instruction sessions, training sessions, and seminars.
