Research Support and Institutional Repository Division
The purpose of the department is to provide information and advisory support for the university's research activities, increase the publication activity and visibility of researchers, and maintain an institutional repository.
The main functions of the department are:
1.Providing researchers with up-to-date scientific information by means of licensed electronic resources under the national subscription of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, under the subscription of the university.
2.Promoting the visibility of the university's researchers in the scientific community:
- work with researchers' profiles (Researcher ID, ScopusAuthorID, ORCID, RSCI, Google Scholar)
- archiving the works of the University researchers in the Institutional repository in the scientific electronic library eLIBRARY.RU (RSCI);
3.Improvement of information literacy of the university users:
- organization and implementation of events for the development of skills in the use of scientific resources and services, also with the participation of representatives of licensed databases;
- development of methodological documents for working with scientific resources and services;
- consultations on the selection of sources for publishing the results of research activities (articles, monographs).
